This listing is for an EXTREMELY RARE Ty Valentino Beanie Baby that possesses some very unusual errors and oddities. I have owned well over a thousand beanie babies throughout my life, and this particular one is amongst the rarest of my massive collection. This Valentino Beanie Baby possesses a fifth generation swing/hang tag as well as a 1993 tush tag. Valentino comes from a smoke-free as well as animal-free home, and this Beanie Baby contains the rarer PVC pellets, unlike the much more commonly found PE pellets found in the vast majority of Beanie Babies. Although this Beanie Baby is NWT, there is a slight bit of wear on the far extreme left of the hang tag. This Beanie Baby was introduced on January 7, 1995 and was retired on December 31st, 1998. What makes this particular Beanie Baby so rare and unique are the numerous errors found on the hang and tush tags. 1 The printed year on the hang tag is 1994, yet on the tush tag the printed year is 1993. 2 On the front of the hang tag, the word “ORIGINAL” is misspelled ORIGIINAL. ” 3 On the back of the hang tag, the word “Surface” is misspelled “Suface. 4 The tush tag has a red star on the front of it. 5 There is an extra space between the words “handmade” and “in” on the tush tag. 6 There is NO NUMBER stamped on the inside of the tush tag. Those WITHOUT stamps are FAR more rare. Other things that make this particular Beanie Baby unique are its brown (instead of black) nose. Also, there is NO style number on the hang tag, and this Valentino Beanie Baby contains the rarer PVC pellets, unlike the much more commonly found PE pellets found in most Beanie Babies. All of the aforementioned errors and oddities combine to make this particular Valentino Beanie Baby very rare and unique, and thus greatly increases it’s overall value. Valentino comes encased in a protective plastic case (please see last photograph) with an additional small plastic protective case surrounding the hang tag.
