Ty’s Princess with a strange oddity. UPC: (0 08421 04300 2). I lost that battle to crying and whining, and so here she is for your consideration. Condition is mint, as are all tags and tag protector. But now comes something that completely shocked me. It is my understanding there are only 3 like this in the world. However for all we know it could be the only one. At first glance, This Beany Baby appears to be very common but SHE IS NOT!! There is what appears to be an over-stitching error intentional? On her white Rose, on the upper right hand section. It is a very tiny sewn-in purple-threaded “TY”. Small, but it is definitely there–under magnification; it shows > a clear, purple “TY”. It appears the factory-worker who was tasked with sewing the rose on the princess’ heart on this particular beany, did so but also decided to add intentionally? A mini, purple “TY” on the white Rose, as his own personal Mark. Cannot guess as to the true reason it was put there. Bottom line is that it is there, and very clear to see. It Dramatically enhances the provenance & scarcity of this beautiful MWMT TY museum quality beanie baby. I have seen lots beanies up close, And many of the Princess herself, but NONE have a personalized “TY” Mark, making this one of the RAREST of them all. THE RAREST of the RARE. Possibly the only one ever made. Again, possibly the only one like it on earth. The Rose is white, the stem is nice green as usual, but then comes QUITE UNUSUAL purple lettering. (in several photos)—What appeared to be a purple blur on the Rose. Also appearing to be out of place, as a sewing error. So I took a closer look, more in depth. A jewelers loupe’s magnification was all I required, to see The anomaly clearly. It unequivocally read “TY”, in purple on the edge of the heart. Handmade in China, using PE Pellets. No pets, no smoking, no direct sunlight. This item is as close to mint-condition, perfect, as it can possibly be. Except of course, for that Wonderful Anomaly on the rose. In my opinion, this particular beanie baby, Princess Diana by TY, can only increase in value due to its very scarce and unusual Purple stitching: “TY”, on the white rose.
