The first production run of the May 11, 1997 Beanie Babies produced for Canada, as well as Claude and Tuffy for USA, had an error on their swing tags. Ty Beanie Baby All Caps Error Tag. May 11, 1997 Releases The first production run for Canada had the Beanies names typed in All Capital letters, except the Peace Bear. The error on these 4th generation swing tags is the name of the Beanie is typed in all capital letters. The All Caps 4th gen swing tags are found on Beanies with 3rd, 4th & 5th generation tush tags dated from 1993, 1995 and 1996. They also came with the black and white Canadian tush tag. Very rare, Birth Date numbers are very close to each other, see swing tag. Very close to the word “SHELL” at the end of the poem, see swing tag. This is a VERY RARE First edition Ty Beanie Baby CLAUDE the Crab, Style 4083, Date of Birth, 9-3-96 and has PVC Pellets. There is not a stamp on the inside of the tush tag which indicates a very limited production. CLAUDE has been stored in an air-tight container and is in mint condition and has not been played with. Both the hang tag and swing tags are in pristine condition. Next to the 1965 on the tush tag is written (KR) meaning it was for the Korean market (another rarity). This is a very colorful CLAUDE, in pristine condition and ready to be yours. I originated all the Beanie Baby Trade shows in the Portland, Oregon area and around the Northwest.
