I have for sale one of the rarest of the Beanie Babies – Valentino! This Valentino is in brand new condition, mint with mint tags, like the day it was made. It has no stains or odors. It is kept in a smoke-free, climate controlled environment. The Swing Tag is in mint condition, with essentially no wear on it. 1 The Swing tag misspelled Original as “Origiinal”. 2 The backside of the Swing Tag reads ” Suface Wash” instead of Surface Wash. 3 The year of birth on the swing tag (1994) and the year of birth on the tush tag (1993) do not match. There are other uncommon attributes on this Valentino as well. 4 There is NO mass production stamp inside the Tush Tag of this Valentino. Before mass production of these Beanies were made, there was no red numbered stamp inside the Tush Tag. After mass production started, a red stamp was included inside the Tush Tag. The lack of stamp on the inside of the tush tag means that this Beanie Baby was not mass produced. This Valentino is of extreme rarity. 5 The Swing Tag includes the Fareham, Hants location , which is collectible. 6 His nose is brown while his eyes are black. This is unusual for the bear beanie babies. Additional Swing Tag Errors. 7 On the left panel of the swing tag, UK has been omitted after the PO15 5TX specification. 8 On the right panel of the swing tag, the date of birth reads: DATE OF BIRTH ; February 14, 1994 when it should read: DATE OF BIRTH: February 14, 1994. Additional Tush Tag Errors. 9 On the Oakbrook line, it reads OAKBROOK IL, U. When it should read OAKBROOK, IL. 10 On the tush tag, it has both the “R” circle after Collection, an R circle under the Ty Heart, and a “TM” after Valentino. There should not be that many trademarks on the tag. My father collected many Beanie Babies for my mother and I before he passed away in 2000. We have held onto these beanies for as long as we can for sentimental reasons, but now must sell them.
