Rare Princess Diana Beanie Baby PVC China 1997 Retired Collectible. 1997 Princess Diana memorial a rare Ty Beanie Babies edition:To be an original 1st Edition the bear needs to have the following specifics; Hang tag text on right needs NO line space between “will be donated to the ” and “DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES” lines. Left side of tag will say “Handmade in China”. Tush tag should state that it is HANDMADE IN CHINA and P. Pellets on the backside. Front side has a star to the top left of the signature TY heart. Pellets were only used for a short time and then PE Pellets became the norm. That is what makes this beanie baby so RARE!! Also, there is NO stamp on the inside loop (those are mass produced beanies made after the first several editions/versions). Flower should have a well defined white rose with a green stem. Some stems tend to be more white in color. This is an extremely limited edition run! Please check with TY and verify! CHINA was the first to make these bears and they used the P. C Pellets until those pellets were phased out and PE Pellets were used. PE Pellets were never used in the 1st edition Princess Diana Beanie Baby. But to find an actual Original HANDMADE in CHINA with P. Pellets is much harder. This is an Excellent example of the Princess Diana 1st Edition memorial authentic Beanie Baby having the original tush tag no stamp and is in excellent condition retired. Name: Princess Diana.
