Released on June 25, 1994 and retired on June 15, 1995, Slither the Snake was only produced for less than a year. With a body length of approximately 2′, Slither is probably the longest Ty Beanie Baby ever produced!! Because of this, it is challenging to keep a Slither beanie in mint condition. Most Slither beanies you see have missing tongues or worn fabric or tongue replacements. To top it off, his tags are the super rare GERMAN version where the right side of inside the swing tag is printed in italics. Beanie babies with German tags were only distributed in Germany for a very short time! They are highly sought-after by avid Beanie Babies Collectors. This Slither beanie has been authenticated by True Blue Beans, sealed inside an acrylic case with the Certificate of Authenticity and graded MWMT-MQ (Mint With Mint Tags – Museum Quality)!
