Very rare, tag error, book states the date of birth is July 1, 1996. Date on box says introduced February 27, 1997. Tuck tag inside shows the date 1993 and OakBrook IL , made in China. Oak Brook, IL is correct yet its clearly an error. They didnt have the space. Maple bear was the Canadian bear for charity thru Ronald McDonald. He belongs to a 4 part set which I have all four, there are only 4,000 manufactured before being retired. The value of this bear is much higher because of the tag errors and he is still in original package after 21 years.
